Lamb of God es una banda de Groove/Death Metal procedente de Estados Unidos y formada en 1999. Es uno de los mayores exponentes no sólo del Groove/Death, sino del Metal en general. Siendo una banda admirada y respetada por todos los amantes del mejor Metal. Para los que no los conozcan, Lamb of God hacen una música muy agresiva tanto como a voz y guitarras/bajo y batería se refiere. A su vez tienen una técnica instrumental enorme cada uno de los miembros que forma esta excelente banda además de unos sublimes riffs de vértigo. Para mi y para muchos Lamb of God es el legado que dejó la banda PANTERA, con un estilo muy similar que siempre nos recordará a esta mítica banda. En resumen, Lamb of God es de esas bandas que te harán mover facilmente la cabeza, os lo aseguro. Totalmente recomendada. Recomiendo todos los discos, todos son destacables. Saludos, aquí les traigo por petición a DevilDriver, una banda estadounidense de Groove/Melodic Death Metal formada en el año 2002. Se trata del nuevo grupo del ex vocalista de Coal Chamber: Dez Fafara. A diferencia de su anterior grupo, hacen una música mucho más potente y técnica. En sus ultimos discos, sobretodo el último "Pray For Villains" hacen un excelente Death Metal Melódico con un trasfondo bastante Groove. The Kandidate

The Kandidate es una banda de Dinamarca de Thrash/Groove Metal formada en el año 2009. Se trata de una jovencísima banda que nos trae un genial album debut en este mismo año con una mezcla muy buena de Thrash y Groove que seguro que gustarán a más de uno. Su musica es muy potente y agresiva, que incluso me hacen recordar en alguna que otra ocasión a Pantera o Slayer. Destaco la voz (muy buena) y sus potentísimos ritmos engrandecidos genialmente por el bajo. Espero que os guste mucho.

Nevermore es una banda estadounidense formada en 1992. Es un grupo que mezcla muchos estilos, de ahi su dificultad a la hora de catalogarla y que sea una banda muy especial con un estilo muy propio. Sin embargo creo que puede ser catalogada como Power/Thrash Metal en sus inicios y como Thrash/Groove Metal bastante progresivo en sus actuales discos. La voz es muy cambiante e irregular, y la verdad es que cuesta un poco acostumbrarse a ella solo al principio. En referencia a su sonido, es muy Thrashero y muy técnico respecto a todos sus instrumentos, destacando los geniales solos de guitarras y las melodías que se crean junto con la voz. El primer disco lo noto muy Power Metal con respecto a los demás, con algún trasfondo de Grunge americano. La voz, bastante Power Metal, es mucho más aguda y propia de éste género, con mucha influencia también del Heavy Metal. De aquí en adelante su estilo se hace mucho más agresivo, más Thrash Metal propiamente dicho en cuanto a todo: voces, baterías, guitarras y bajo. Realmente recomiendo todos sus discos, todos tienen temas geniales, pero si tengo que elegir algunos esos son "Dreaming Neon Black", "Dead Heart in a dead World" y por supuesto "Enemies of Reality" (para mi el mejor). Procedentes de Canadá, Annihilator, es una de las mejores bandas de Thrash Metal del paronama. En sus comienzos hacían un Technical Speed/Thrash Metal y hoy en dia hacen más un Thrash/Groove Metal diría yo. El grupo se formó en 1984 y en general todos sus discos son muy buenos. Su demo y sus primeros álbumes muestran canciones increibles, con una técnica instrumental perfecta. Ésta cualidad la irían desarrollando cada vez más y mejor en posteriores álbumes. Sería una parrafada enorme citaros cada disco (en general todos estan muy bien como ya he dicho) por eso voy a los que yo destacaría: "Alice in Hell" es genial, su sonido es del Thrash Metal más puro y clásico, como sucede en "Never, Neverland". "Waking the fury" es el álbum que despierta una potencia enorme en la banda tras discos no tan potentes como los anteriores a éste. "Metal" es otro disco muy muy bueno, en él podemos encontrar colaboraciones con Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom), Jesper Strömblad (In Flames), Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), (Trivium), (Lamb of God).. entre otros, pero en definitiva, es un disco formidable y que engancha. También con esta discografía enorme os traigo su fatástico último disco "Annihilator" el cual también destaco y recomiendo enormemente. Espero que os encante tanto como a mi! Soulfly Discografia

Soulfly, es un grupo musical de Brasil, de Alternative y Thrash Metal y mezcla de estilos brasileños, de su propio país, creada por Max Cavalera en 1997 después de abandonar el grupo Sepultura por fuertes diferencias personales. Él se mantiene como único miembro estable de la banda que ha tenido varios miembros, entre ellos se puede citar por ejemplo al guitarrista Logan Mader, ex Machine Head, o David Ellefson ex bajista de Megadeth.

Su estilo agresivo y tribal ha sido influenciado por las conexiones internas de la banda en cuestiones políticas, sociales, musicales y sobre todo, por las ideas de reivindicación de la banda como una tribu, liderada por Massimiliano Antonio Cavalera, más conocido por su alias, Max Cavalera.

Rob Zombie es un músico de groove metal e industrial, director de cine y escritor. Su estilo vocal y su fascinación con las películas clase B lo han ayudado a convertirse en un elemento distintivo en la música por componer canciones con cierta "tenebrosidad" caracteristica de el. Rob Zombie es más conocido como el fundador, vocalista principal, escritor y caricaturista de la banda White Zombie. En años recientes se ha establecido como solista y director.

Fear Factory es una banda estadounidense de Industrial Death Metal. La banda se formó en el año 1989 y han realizado siete álbumes y varios remix ademas de sencillos y compilaciones. A través del paso de los años el sonido de la banda ha cambiado mucho, lo que generó varias peleas y discusiones entre los fans, ya que en todos sus álbumes han experimentado con distintos géneros del metal extremo y alternativo, como la combinación de los estilos death metal, groove metal, thrash metal e industrial metal. El sonido resultante de las combianciones ha demostrado ser enormemente influyente en la escena del metal a mediados de los años 90 y en adelante. Especialmente me ha gustado su ultimo trabajo mechanize se lo recomiendo. Damageplan, banda de groove metal, influenciada en gran medida por el nu metal, y el estilo de otra banda, Pantera, debido a que 2 de sus ex-integrantes la formaron al lado del ex guitarrista y cantante de Rob Halford Patrick Lachman, y Bob Zilla en el bajo. Los hermanos Abbott (Vinnie Paul y Dimebag Darrell), comenzaron este proyecto(2004), tras la ruptura de Pantera, debido a que Phil Anselmo se dedicó a sus proyectos paralelos(superjoint ritual y Down al lado de Rex). Pantera Discografia

Pantera, banda Estado Unidense del Estado de Texas fundada en 1981 y separada en el 2003 y un año despues murio Dimebag Darrell y bueno, ya mucha gente sabe la historia de la banda y todo eso no lo repetire ni hare un copy&paste de wikipedia.

El estilo de la banda es de un Hard Rock y Heavy metal orientado al Glam en los comienzos de la banda (me parece un asco!) y desde 1990 fueron mas al Thrash Metal mesclado con otros sonidos, siendo haci una de las primeras bandas del Groove Meal (ahi si son jodidamente buenos :D)

En fin recomiendo todos sus discos apartir de 1990 :)
