Forefather es un grupo británico formado en 1997 por los hermanos Athelstan y Wulftan. Estos hermanos también han colaborado participando en la multitudinaria y famosa banda "Folkearth". Aunque denominan a su música "Anglo-Saxon metal" (?????), se trata de un Black/Viking/Folk Metal de muy alto nivel con un fantástico sonido y una genial composición. Destaco sus muy buenas melodías folk entrelazas de un modo sublime con un potente Black Metal con tintes muy vikingos.
