Nevermore es una banda estadounidense formada en 1992. Es un grupo que mezcla muchos estilos, de ahi su dificultad a la hora de catalogarla y que sea una banda muy especial con un estilo muy propio. Sin embargo creo que puede ser catalogada como Power/Thrash Metal en sus inicios y como Thrash/Groove Metal bastante progresivo en sus actuales discos. La voz es muy cambiante e irregular, y la verdad es que cuesta un poco acostumbrarse a ella solo al principio. En referencia a su sonido, es muy Thrashero y muy técnico respecto a todos sus instrumentos, destacando los geniales solos de guitarras y las melodías que se crean junto con la voz. El primer disco lo noto muy Power Metal con respecto a los demás, con algún trasfondo de Grunge americano. La voz, bastante Power Metal, es mucho más aguda y propia de éste género, con mucha influencia también del Heavy Metal. De aquí en adelante su estilo se hace mucho más agresivo, más Thrash Metal propiamente dicho en cuanto a todo: voces, baterías, guitarras y bajo. Realmente recomiendo todos sus discos, todos tienen temas geniales, pero si tengo que elegir algunos esos son "Dreaming Neon Black", "Dead Heart in a dead World" y por supuesto "Enemies of Reality" (para mi el mejor).
