Opeth es una de las bandas mas conocidas del metal y no es precisamente porque se hayan vendido, todo lo contrario, tienen un sonido excelente y hasta cierto punto clave dentro de lo que son las bandas experimentales de hoy en dia, teniendo bases de Death Metal tecnico con Doom y metal progresivo, acompañandolo tambien a lo largo de su carrera con Blues Y Jazz haciendose con un sonido unico en su tipo.
